Nadja was born in Denmark and started her life in the saddle when she was 5 years old. She competed in showjumping and dressage on National level as well as competed in the Danish Championship at 16 years old. She proceeded to work in the United States and later Germany before she moved to Portugal in 2012. After five years of working with professional riders, and being the manager of a Training- and Stud Farm she opened her own stables 'One World Equestrian Center' in August 2017.
Nadja has competed at National Level in Portugal with her PSL breeding stallion Vitorino. The pair has worked with Manuel Borba Veiga at Small Tour level and proceeded to train with international and Olympic dressage rider Daniel Pinto towards their debut in Grand Prix in 2018.
Being a certified Coach she is not only a skillful rider and teacher, but also a trainer with an eye for the riders mental needs to become the best rider possible. Her approach is straightforward, caring and focused on what is needed here-and-now to bring the rider on. Her well trained horses for the lessons are selected for their caracter, rideability and ability to help teach the riders.
Her main objective with OWEC is to develop better riders and match the right rider with the right horse. Searching and selecting horses for sale is a specialty where her knowledge of the Lusitano horse and human insights make her able to find the perfect horse for any rider.
